20 Years of WFL and the Kenworth T3 series
There’s a long and proud history between Kenworth and Waverley Forklifts.
Charlie Schwerkolt, the Managing Director of WFL, purchased the company’s first Kenworth in 1998 (Truck 13) to add to the existing truck fleet. This truck was a T300, and thus begun WFL’s love affair with the series.
Charlie’s wise decision to invest in the Kenworth brand has enabled the transport fleet to grow and build a reputation of quality and reliability.
Waverley continues to champion the T3 model range today, with the fleet operating T359s in 4×2, 6×4, and 8×4 configurations.
Over the years Rob English, WFL Transport’s Manager, has worked closely with Custom Transport Equipment (CTE) and Kenworth with custom designs and builds to suit the diverse applications required in our industry.
With over a dozen Kenworth’s currently in our fleet, and the majority being T300s, it’s apparent that satisfaction with the equipment is met. From delivering forklifts and machinery throughout inner Melbourne to traveling to the outer stretches of Victoria, and on the occasion beyond, our drivers know they’re in a reliable vehicle that will suit the requirements to get the job done.
